Volunteer in San Francisco, CA
blueEnergy’s international headquarters is located in San Francisco, CA. At the moment the organization is expanding its operational capacity and is looking for additional help in several areas, including: accounting, legal assistance, communications, financial planning, grant seeking/writing, and fundraising. blueEnergy is seeking volunteers who have experience in these fields and who are able to donate time either in concentrated segments or part-time over longer periods. There are also a few entry-level positions open, which would be ideal for dedicated high school or new college students.
Volunteer in Nicaragua
blueEnergy’s project operations are located on the Caribbean Coast of Nicaragua. blueEnergy is seeking volunteers to work in Nicaragua in the areas of project administration, community relations, field research, energy system design, system electonics, and manufacturing. Applicants should be energetic, self-sufficient, proficient in Spanish and English and be willing to commit to a period of at least 3 months; longer commitments are given preference and few applicants with commitments of less than 6 months are accepted.
